Comprehensive Care for Aseel Roosters of some common disease.

Ensure the health and vitality of your Aseel rooster with our specially formulated Enoroos Syrup. If your beloved rooster is facing health challenges such as diarrhea, a blocked crop, or lethargy, our syrup provides a holistic approach to restoring his well-being. The symptoms of a blocked crop can include a swollen crop, foul-smelling watery droppings, and weight loss, which could lead to broader health complications if not addressed promptly.

Understanding the Symptoms

Diarrhea in chickens can be alarming, and understanding its root causes is crucial. An Aseel rooster facing diarrhea may experience a combination of symptoms, including:

  • Green Diarrhea
  • Watery Diarrhea
  • Excessive Weakness
  • Digestive Problems
  • Weight Loss

Aside from a blocked crop, diarrhea can also be a result of coccidiosis, worms, bacterial or viral infections, or dietary issues. Addressing these symptoms promptly is vital for your rooster’s recovery.

Guideline for Dosage

Single bird treatment dosage:

Correct dosage is critical when administering Enoroos Syrup. Please follow these instructions based on the weight of your rooster:

  • Under Weight 100g: 1 Drop of Enoroos Syrup with 5ml water
  • Under Weight 200g: 2 Drops of Enoroos Syrup with 10ml water

  • Under Weight 4kg: 20 Drops of Enoroos Syrup with 35ml water

Symptoms

An Aseel rooster with a blocked crop experiencing diarrhea may have a combination of symptoms including a swollen crop, lethargy, and foul-smelling, watery droppings. The diarrhea could be a result of the blocked crop preventing proper digestion or due to a secondary infection. Other possible causes of diarrhea in chickens include coccidiosis, worms, bacterial or viral infections, or dietary issues.

Blocked Crop (Sour Crop or Impacted Crop):

  • Symptoms:

A swollen, fluid-filled, or hard crop that doesn’t empty, along with lethargy, loss of appetite, and a foul odor.

  • Diarrhea:

A blocked crop can lead to diarrhea because it disrupts the normal digestive process, potentially causing undigested food and excess fluid to pass through the intestines.

  • Possible Secondary Infections:
A blocked crop can create an environment for bacterial or yeast overgrowth, leading to further digestive upset and diarrhea.

Diarrhea (in general):

  • Causes:

Besides a blocked crop, diarrhea in chickens can be caused by various factors including coccidiosis (a parasitic infection), worms, bacterial infections (like E. coli or salmonella), viral infections (like rotavirus or adenovirus), or dietary issues (such as too much protein or spoiled feed).

  • Symptoms:

In addition to watery, foul-smelling droppings, diarrhea can be accompanied by lethargy, loss of appetite, ruffled feathers, and in severe cases, respiratory distress, and even death.

  • Red Droppings:

If you notice blood in the droppings, it could indicate coccidiosis or other internal issues like worms or trauma.

What to do:

  1. 1. Assess the Severity:

If the rooster is severely ill (lethargic, not eating, breathing problems), seek veterinary care immediately.

  2. 2. Check the Crop:

Gently feel the crop. If it’s swollen and doesn’t empty, suspect a blockage.

  3. 3. Observe Droppings:

Note the color, consistency, and frequency of the droppings. Look for blood, pus, or worms.

  4. 4. Isolate the Rooster:

If the rooster is showing signs of illness, isolate it from the rest of the flock to prevent potential spread of disease.

  5. 5. Provide Fresh Water and Food:

Ensure access to clean water and a balanced diet.

  6. 6. Consider Veterinary Advice:

Consult with a veterinarian or experienced poultry professional for proper diagnosis and treatment.

  7. 7. Treat Infections:

If a bacterial or parasitic infection is diagnosed, follow the veterinarian’s recommendations for treatment.

  8. 8. Preventative Measures:

Regularly clean waterers and provide clean, dry bedding. Consider worming and coccidiosis prevention strategies according to your veterinarian’s advice.
